The day will be overcast and wet at times. The first rain showers are expected in the morning. Further showers are expected in the afternoon and evening. As the cold front passes through in the evening, a northerly wind will pick up, becoming strong in places.

Mountain weather today

Visibility will be severely restricted by clouds and fog, and rain showers are expected throughout the day. The snow line will be between 2700 and 2900 m during the day. As the cold front moves in, it will drop to around 2000 m in the north. In the high mountains 10 to 20 cm of fresh snow are possible.

Weather development

Friday will be partly to heavily cloudy, with the sun shining at times. The north foehn will ease off as the day progresses. On Saturday, the sun will make more frequent appearances, though a few clouds will drift across the sky. In the afternoon, isolated rain showers are also possible. The foehn will continue. Sunday will be quite sunny. Monday will also bring sunny autumn weather.
